Programming with Scratch 1: Get Started!

Date: Wednesday, May 27
Time: 03:00 pm - 04:00 pm EST
Location: Remote

Studies have shown that learning how to program using tools such as scratch better prepares you for more challenging computer science concepts. The goal of this session will be to get you acclimated to Scratch, learn about loops and conditional statements, and additional Scratch resources to help you learn more on your own. You can also use the knowledge you learn in this course to teach your kids how to program and to sign up to volunteer for iSTEM! (Note that we will offer a "Scratch 2" session in the near future as well!)

This webinar "Programming with Scratch 1: Get Started!" is part of the Arcus Education initiative to support the CHOP research community during the temporary lab shutdown.
